The Killian Foundation is a non-profit organization with tax exempt 501(c)(3) public charity status in the United States with headquarters in Dallas, Texas and a branch in Buenos Aires, Argentina.  The foundation is a non-discriminatory, non-political and non-denominational organization.  We develop and support projects exclusively in Argentina.

Venture Philanthropy

We are in the process of incorporating various components of venture philanthropy with our partners in Argentina.  In essence, this is a comprehensive effort of applying effective business techniques of venture capitalism to the non-profit world.  Measurable results, capacity building with project development and high levels of donor engagment are some of the key tenets of venture philanthropy.  The implementation of these business practices will create a deeper commitment and greater sense of responsibility to our partner organizations.  Fundamentally, this is a proactive management tool to promote efficiency in our various projects as well as self-sufficiency for our partner organizations.
